Hyderabadi Tahari recipe is very simple and easy to make at home with the ingredients that are available in your kitchen ,Tahari recipe is made with different variations with choice of meat that is chicken,Mutton gosht (lamb) & beef

Authentic Hyderabadi Taste comes with mutton  gosht (lamb ) with whole Garam masala .Hyderabadi tahari that i made in this video is very flavourful and made very quick as in cooking time is about 25 minutes.





Hyderabadi Tahari gosht Ingredients

Cooking Oil                   -    3 Tbs
Diced Onions                -     medium
ginger garlic paste       -     2 Tbs
green chilli paste          -      6  no's
Salt                                  -     to Taste   
red chilli powder            -     1 tbs
turmeric                           -      1/4 tsp
mutton   gosht(lamb)              -      1/2 Kg
yogurt                                -      100 gm
garam masala                   -      1 tsp
tomato                                  -     2 big size
water                                      -     2 glass
Rice                                         -     1/2 kg
masoor daal   (pink lentil)    -      2 tbs
black cumin seeds                 -  1/2 tsp
lemon juice                               -  1  big lemon
Chopped mint                            - handful
Chopped cilantro                       -  Handful

Method of making hyderqbadi Tahari 


Add 3 tbs of cooking oil fry onions light golden brown add ginger garlic paste saute it to golden colour.

This step is to add green chilli paste with turmeric chilli powder and salt mix it to form a gravy consistency .

In this step we add tomatoes let it cook for few minutes and then we add mutton and saute it for 5 minutes then add 1 glass of water to this gravy and pressure cook this mixture for about 5 whistles on medium low .

After 5 whistles add lemon juice with Garam masala .


Now it's the time to add rice with pink lentils and mix it well then add 2 glass of water and let it cook for 15 minutes till the water dried out 


Once water is drys out our Tahari is ready to be served
